@Nadh: We kind of have some idea about how our past was like--at least there are some artifacts that explain the past events. The future is highly unpredictable and we can't even imagine how it'll be like in 10000 years. In the 1980s, people predicted there'll be flying cars by 2020. Well, we don't have flying cars but we have amazingly powerful handheld machines (smartphones) that changed the way we live like nothing before.
So, I always choose the future!

@Nadh: Solar power can put our lives on nitro. A cheap way of storing solar power can make our lives never think about batteries ever run out of juice.

@apoduri: Tatum definitely has a better chance of winning MVP. Props to Luka and Trae, but their teams have to get a better record. Zion is still very young, and he's played about 10 games, and he's on a losing team. Tatum is on a title contender in his 3rd year! He's 21 years old, and he's basically carrying the team.

@Nadh: It takes 500 seconds for the sunlight to reach earth. So, being able to go faster than light can change the universe as we know it!

@jachayw: I think FTL is 100% and 0%, while Climate Change is more a 0% and 100%. Fusion Power is sort of a 50% and 50% between the two of them.

@ThatOneFangirl: While landing on the moon was important, Sputnik was the trigger for the whole space race. If Sputnik never launched, all of the other things might not have happened when they did. Sputnik acted as a wakeup call for the US. It was probably the most important thing to make us stop slacking around and actually get something of our own into space!

Moon landing is the first step to make us interplanetary species.
